Thomas Gorman

Experience

Tom joined Marcus & Millichap in 2003 and quickly reached Associate status in 2004. He went on to earn Senior Associate status by 2006 and has closed over $190 million of commercial real estate.

Tom spent the early years of his career as a business journalist before working as director of content for several dot-com companies. Prior to joining M&M, Tom spent several years at Deloitte Consulting, working with Fortune 500 clients.

Education

Tom earned a BA in Philosophy from Loyola College in Baltimore, MD, graduating in 1992. He is a native of the Philadelphia area where he currently lives with his wife, Maureen and two sons.

Matthew Gorman

Experience

Matt joined Marcus & Millichap in January 2005 as a Sales Intern. He moved on to become a Sales Agent in 2006 and quickly reached Associate status in 2007, and Senior Associate status in early 2009. In his time at the firm, the Gorman Retail Group has closed over $190 million dollars of commercial real estate to-date.

Matt spent the early years of his career as a Branch Manager for Univest, a local bank in Bucks and Montgomery Counties. Prior to joining M&M, Matt was an Account Manager for Cigna Insurance Company working closely with benefits coordinators at companies of all sizes on the West Coast.

Education

Matt earned a B.S. in Business Administration concentration in Marketing paired with a minor in Psychology from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA, graduating in 2003.

Michael Shover

Experience

Mike joined the Gorman Retail Group of Marcus & Millichap in 2008. He has since become an Associate with the firm and has already closed transactions for the team. Mike specializes in investment property sales in the Central Pennsylvania and Maryland MSA’s.

Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap Mike spent four years as a Commercial Real Estate Lender with Susquehanna Bank in Baltimore, Maryland where he served as an Assistant Vice President. It was during this time where Mike developed the fundamentals for underwriting and evaluating commercial real estate.

Mike earned a B.A. in Business Management from Bucknell University, graduating in 2005.
